MVMC Child Care: Mountain View operates an after-school child-care program serving children from three area schools.

Women in Mission meets on the first Thursday of each month to sew and quilt. Their projects have included items to sell at the Ritzville (OR) MCC Sale in October, quilts for local fundraisers, and quilting services for residents of Kalispell.

NOTE: Women in Mission is collecting school kits from now until the end of September. They will be taken to the relief sale in Ritzville in October. You can help by purchasing materials for one or more kits:

Contents (NEW items only)
• 4 spiral or perforated notebooks (about 21.5cm x 27cm / 8.5" x 10.5" and 70-80 sheets U.S. )
• 4 unsharpened pencils
• 1 ruler (flat, flexible plastic; indicating both 30cm and 12")
• 12 colored pencils (in packaging)
• 1 large pencil eraser

School kits are distributed in a useful double drawstring cloth bag (28cm x 40.6cm / 11in x 16in). You may sew the bag yourself , request bags from an MCC collection center, or donate contents that we will place in a bag.

Mennonite Youth Fellowship: The Mennonite Youth meet twice a month, on the first and third Friday, at 7 p.m. The first Friday meeting is always a business meeting/Bible study, and the third Friday get-together is for fun and fellowship.

Heritage Place singing: A group of singers from MVMC visits the Heritage Place nursing home in Kalispell every Thursday morning to sing hymns with the residents.

Feed the Flathead: Twice a month, a group of MVMC prepares and serves supper for residents of Kalispell.
